Richard J. Streit

Richard J. Streit is a retired Senior and Managing Partner and presently Of Counsel to Ladas & Parry in the Chicago office.

Richard has practiced international patent prosecution for over forty years. He was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 1965, and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois in 1968. In addition, Mr. Streit is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

He received his B.S.M.E. from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. from the John Marshall Law School. Richard is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago, and AIPLA. He was named to the BTI Consulting Group 2008 list of Client Services All-Star attorneys, an exclusive listing of 148 attorneys countrywide.

When not practicing law, Richard raises quarter horses with his wife at their farm outside of Chicago.
