Michael Thompson

Michael Thompson is an associate at Ladas & Parry LLP in the New York office.

Michael’s practice focuses on domestic and international trademark prosecution, clearance, maintenance and enforcement, domain names, and brand protection.

Prior to joining Ladas & Parry, Michael practiced as an associate at an intellectual property law firm where he concentrated on trademark prosecution, clearance, trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings, brand protection, enforcement, domain disputes and copyright litigation.

Michael received his Juris Doctor from New York Law School.  While at NYLS, Michael interned for the Hon. Barry Sarkisian in the General Equity Division of the Superior Court of Hudson County.  Before law school, Michael completed his Bachelor’s degree at The Ohio State University and was certified and worked as a paralegal at an intellectual property law firm specializing in international trademark and patent prosecution.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys running and watching sports.
