Laurent P. Lusinchi is a patent professional attached to the London office of Ladas & Parry.
Laurent is an EPO patent attorney with a master’s degree in electrical engineering. He has been practicing patent law for over a decade and spent two years in Japan at NTT (Musashino Labs) and Alcatel; then worked for six years in France as an integrated circuit (chip) designer for Thales and ST Microelectronics.
He joined the French law firm of Michel de Beaumont in 1997 before joining Ladas & Parry in 2004. He is a native French speaker, is fluent in English, and conversant in German and Japanese.
Representative technologies in which Laurent has written and prosecuted patent applications include electronic components and electronic hardware and software. More specifically, he has written and prosecuted patent applications in the fields of electronics, optics, software and mechanics, in the domains of chip manufacture, global positioning systems, flat panel displays, telecommunications, optoelectronic sensors, neural networks, non-uniform sampling, encoding/decoding/encryption, business methods, and medical devices.
In his spare time, Laurent enjoys family life, experimental vegetarian cooking and home renovation; and, time permitting, sculpture and skiing.
