Ishanda Reid

Ishanda Reid is an Associate at Ladas & Parry in the New York office. Her journey with us began during her college years, where she gained invaluable experience working as a file clerk and legal assistant.

Ishanda’s practices concentrates on trademark prosecution, clearance, maintenance and enforcement, domain names and brand protection.

Ishanda received her Juris Doctor from Maurice A. Dean School of Law at Hofstra University (Hofstra Law School). While studying, she served as a member of the Hofstra Law Review, Associate Editor on the Moot Court Board and Treasurer of the Black Law Student Association. Her academic excellence earned her the Corporate and Securities Law Award and the Gina Maria Escarce Memorial Scholarship. Ishanda was also a finalist in the Intramural Moot Court Competition and quarterfinalist in the Thurgood Marshall Moot Court Competition. Ishanda received her Bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Berkeley College. While at Berkeley College, she majored in Legal Studies and was in the Honors Program.

Prior to joining Ladas & Parry LLP as an Associate, Ishanda was a Court Attorney for a Civil Court Judge in Kings County Civil Court and a consultant in the ratings legal department at Kroll Bond Rating Agency. During law school, she was a legal intern at the Community and Economic Development Clinic, where she assisted small businesses with corporate structuring and tax election. Ishanda also interned with AYCO, a Goldman Sachs Company. While in law school, she also worked as a legal assistant at Peter C. Kopff, LLC.
