Edward Baxter

Edward “Eddie” Baxter is an Associate at Ladas & Parry and is admitted to practice in New York.

Eddie’s practice focuses on trademark and copyright law, including but not limited to matters related to prosecution, clearance, maintenance and enforcement, as well as corporate and transactional matters. Beyond Intellectual Property, Eddie draws on a broad base of legal experience—from securities litigation to commercial real estate transactions.

Eddie graduated from Benjamin N. Cardozo school of law in 2020, with a concentration in Intellectual Property Law. While studying, Eddie was a Legal Writing teaching assistant, and was active in Cardozo’s Intellectual Property Law Society, Entertainment Law Society, Interactive Entertainment Law Society, and OUTLaw. Eddie also holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from Kenyon College.

Prior to joining the team at Ladas & Parry, Eddie was an associate at Tashlik Goldwyn Levy LLP and a Law Clerk at The Fried Firm LLP. During law school, Eddie had the privilege of working in the Health Care Bureau of the New York State Office of the Attorney General, where he participated in multi-state opioid litigation. He also spent time as a summer associate learning under the talented attorneys at Schlam, Stone & Dolan LLP.

In his spare time, Eddie enjoys cooking, playing tabletop role-playing games with his friends, talking shop about film and film criticism, and the video game industry, and just about any other nerd-miscellany one can think of.
