Diane R. Meyers

Diane R. Meyers is of Counsel at Ladas & Parry.   

Diane has a wide range of experience handling and managing patent preparation and prosecution in all areas of the chemical arts.  She has negotiated and enforced a wide range of intellectual property-focused agreements and IP provisions in commercial agreements, provided opinions and counsel on a breadth of IP issues, and handled IP matters related to acquisitions and divestitures. 

Diane joins the firm after serving for many years as Assistant General Counsel, Intellectual Property, for PPG Industries, Inc, a Fortune 250 company, where she had Global responsibility for all IP matters.  While there, she established intellectual property policies, oversaw PPG’s extensive U.S. and international patent and trademark portfolios, negotiated cross-border agreements, and provided world-wide counsel to the corporation on all aspects of intellectual property.  With broad international experience, Diane understands when advice across multiple jurisdictions is needed.
