Daifei Zhang

Daifei Zhang is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Ladas & Parry. Daifei’s primary practice focuses on patent prosecution and counseling.  He has prepared and prosecuted U.S. and foreign patent applications across a broad range of fields and advise clients on patent portfolio management and filing strategies in different jurisdictions, including US, China, Japan, South Korea and EPO. Daifei’s specialty is in business methods, semiconductor devices, software, Blockchain, AI/machine learning, LTE/5G technology and SEP, and other electrical related technologies. Prior to joining Ladas & Parry, Daifei worked at a semiconductor company in Silicon Valley where he focused on patent prosecution and worked on licensing matters and portfolio management. Before his legal education, he worked as a Patent Examiner at the State Intellectual Property Office of the China (SIPO), where he searched and examined patent applications. When not practicing law, Daifei enjoys photography, hiking, skiing, basketball, and tennis.

Daifei is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Japanese.
