The United Kingdom became the 68th member of the Hague Union related to International Registration of Industrial Designs on June 13, 2018. As a result, the creators of Industrial Designs in the United Kingdom may file a single International Application with a single set of fees, designating any combination of up to 82 countries in which they can obtain design protection. Conversely, parties based in Hague Union members outside the United Kingdom may designate the United Kingdom in their International Design Applications.
