SCOTUS Affirms Federal Circuit in In Re Tam, holding prohibition of disparaging marks from registration as unconstitutional violation of Free Speech

The U.S. Supreme Court affirmed the decision of the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in In Re Tam on June 19, 2017 (see SCOTUS Decision in In Re Tam, holding that the prohibition of disparaging marks from registration by the USPTO is an unconstitutional violation of Free Speech.
