LADAS ATTORNEY ISSUED A PATENT FOR HIS OWN INVENTION ON 12/10/2019

Ladas & Parry congratulates Ladas attorney David Brezina for obtaining a patent for his invention of a horn cleat deflector (U.S. Pat No. 10,501,154), which was issued to him on December 10th, 2019. David, who is a practicing IP attorney and has been writing patent applications for over thirty years, is also an avid recreational sailboat racer and was inspired to invent this device after a sailing tragedy which occurred several years ago where a sailor died because the hook on his tether fouled in a cleat and bent.
