Fred Meyers was invited from a pool of acknowledged local practitioner experts to preside, for the ninth time, as a Practitioner Judge for the Midwest regional oral arguments for the Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition, alongside active and retired Federal and Circuit Court Judges sitting en banc in the Federal District Courthouse in Chicago.
