Frank Gao Participates in April IP Speaking Engagements and Events

April 9 Webinar: Intellectual Property Management
Earlier this month, Frank presented a webinar for the Chinese American Chemical Society of the Great Lakes on April 9, titled “Realizing the Value of Intellectual Property Management.” The session brought together an audience of 39 attendees and focused on key aspects of U.S. patent strategy, including leveraging patents and trademarks for business growth, managing risk, and navigating the USPTO application process.
April 16 Events: IAM Live and Engineering Conference
On April 16, Frank participated in two industry events in Detroit. He attended IAM Live: Auto IP USA 2026, where global IP professionals gathered to discuss emerging trends in automotive intellectual property. The same day, he also took part in the Detroit Chinese Engineers Association Banquet Conference, which brought together OEMs, suppliers, and engineering professionals to explore advancements in electrification and automotive technologies, alongside networking and collaboration opportunities.
April 25 Event: Chinese American Chemical Society
Frank will continue his engagement on April 25 with the Chinese American Chemical Society Great Lakes Chapter at their 28th Annual Conference. He will serve as a judge for graduate student presentations and host a Ladas & Parry table. With more than 100 participants expected, the event will provide an opportunity for attendees to connect with Frank to discuss patent law, career paths in intellectual property, and the role of legal strategy in innovation.
