Dennis Prahl’s ARTICLE ABOUT the refusal of U.S. Trademark FOR HEALTHLY HEMP published

Dennis Prahl’s article entitled, “Although HEALTHY HEMP May Do Many Things, It Does Not Function As A Trademark,” has been published in WTR Daily, part of World Trademark Review, in March 2016.

The article is about the decision regarding French Meadow Organic Bakery LLC’s U.S. trademark application for HEALTHY HEMP.  In spite of the applicants argument before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) that the mark as a whole was not merely descriptive, the TTAB upheld the original examining attorney’s decision not to register HEALTHY HEMP on the principal register.
