AFTER DECADES OF PRESSURE TO DISCONTINUE THE USE OF THE CHIEF WAHOO LOGO, THE CLEVELAND INDIANS ANNOUNCED THEY WILL CEASE USE ON PLAYER UNIFORMS

The Cleveland Indians recently announced they will stop using the Chief Wahoo logo on player uniforms and limit the use of the logo as to preserve federal trademark rights, as the logo is considered to be offensive to many Native Americans.
