LADAS & PARRY SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDS RADIO STATION

Ladas attorney Michael Cornman successfully defended a Woodstock, New York based, not-for-profit radio station, Birds of a Feather Media Limited (BOAF), in a lawsuit brought by Chet-5 Broadcasting, L.P. alleging infringement and unfair competition in relation to the registered marks WOODSTOCK RADIO and RADIO WOODSTOCK. BOAF, also known as Woodstock 104 for broadcasting at 104.1 megahertz, claimed trademark fair use for broadcast services in its defense. After a prolonged battle, BOAF prevailed and the case was dismissed with prejudice on September 22, 2016.
