U.S. Supreme Court Grants Cert in Disparaging Trademark Case: Lee v. Tam

The Supreme Court today granted the USPTO’s petition to review the decision of the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit ruling that the USPTO’s refusal to register allegedly disparaging marks is a violation of the First Amendment right of free speech.
