LADAS & PARRY ANNOUNCES THE RETIREMENT OF DAN ZENDEL ON 12/21/2018

Today we announce the retirement of our longtime colleague Daniel Zendel. Mr. Zendel has served as a Partner of the firm and more recently as Of Counsel while practicing in the field of international trademark law and protection. He has practiced at two multinational corporations and at Ladas & Parry since 1972. In his career, he has counseled clients on U.S. trademark and copyright law as well as IP licensing.

Dan has served as a mentor for law students at Fordham University and as a lecturer at Fordham Law School. He has also been published in the Fordham Law Review as well as other publications such as the INTA Trademark Reporter, New York Law Journal and The National Law Journal just to name a few.

Mr. Zendel has also served on several committees of the International Trademark Association (INTA) where he was chairman of the sub-committee on foreign trademark law as well as served on committees of the American Bar Association. Dan has also appeared on CNN International to provide analysis for an important U.S. copyright, trademark and contract case.

Dan has received many accolades throughout his career. He has been named as a New York SuperLawyer in New York SuperLawyers Magazine, Manhattan Edition and recognized by Martindale-Hubbell with an AV rating for professional excellence and achievement and the highest legal and ethical standards.

Dan’s contributions to the firm will be remembered for years to come. We wish him happiness in his retirement.
