LADAS ATTORNEY APPOINTED TO SERVE ON IP SECTION COUNCIL OF THE ILLINOIS BAR ASSOCIATION

Ladas attorney David C. Brezina has been appointed to serve on the Intellectual Property Section Council of the Illinois Bar Association for 2022-2023. Mr. Brezina is a longtime Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) member who recently had the privilege of having the same article published in both the Intellectual Property Section and the Construction Law Section newsletters: “Copyright Trolls in the Construction Industry – But Is It Good Law and Bad Facts?” Vol. 11, No. 4, Building Knowledge Construction Law Newsletter of ISBA Construction Law Section, was reprinted in the Intellectual Property Law Section newsletter September 2021, Vol. 61, No. 1.
Mr. Brezina serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago Law School, formerly The John Marshall Law School, where he earned a Master of Laws degree in Intellectual Property Law. David also co-authored a thesis: “Antitrust and Misuse Aspects of Intellectual Property” with Ladas & Parry partner Burton S. Ehrlich.
