Kevin Thompson is an attorney in the Chicago office of Ladas & Parry.

Kevin has significant experience with domestic and international trademark, copyright, internet law, and domain name issues. Kevin counsels clients in the selection, clearance, and maintenance of trademarks. He advises them with respect to enforcement of rights, and assists in representing them in disputes around the world to protect their valuable intellectual property.

His legal blog, Cyberlaw Central, has focused on the intersection of law and technology in our increasingly online world since 2005. He tweets as @cyberlaw.

Prior to joining Ladas & Parry, Kevin practiced intellectual property law at another IP boutique in Chicago for nearly 15 years. Prior to coming to law school, Kevin worked in the Software Sales department for the Division of Information Technology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

In his free time, Kevin can be found camping with the Boy Scouts, reading science fiction books, listening to music, discussing good cinematography, watching football, and spending time with his family.
