Jay Bondell is Of Counsel in the Ladas and Parry New York Office.

In addition to his B.S. in electrical engineering, and his J.D., Jay also has an MBA.  This combination provides the ability to identify and address both the business and technical concerns of a client. In the patent field, he has had extensive experience with complex electrical, electro-mechanical and mechanical equipment, including control systems, vibration control equipment, medical and diagnostic equipment and a variety of other related arts.

Jay also concentrates in client counseling and licensing. He has assisted clients having software, food product, jewelry, game, toy, electrical and mechanical interests in licensing, and negotiating patent, trademark, and copyright and trade secret agreements. He also has experience in different aspects of computer and Internet law as well as large-scale licensing and intellectual property enforcement programs. He has significant litigation expertise in all facets of intellectual property law.

In addition, Jay has significant experience in contested and appellate proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and has successfully argued cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

In his spare time, Jay enjoys woodworking, gardening, and travel.
