Danielle Weitzman is an Associate at Ladas & Parry in the New York office.
Danielle’s practice concentrates on trademarks, copyrights, domain names, brand protection, and intellectual property transactions. She advises clients on all aspects of U.S. and international trademark law, including trademark clearance, prosecution, maintenance and enforcement. Danielle has experience counseling clients across a variety of industries, including technology, industrial products, beauty and cosmetics, healthcare, food and beverage, sports and boating. Prior to joining the firm, she authored numerous articles while part of the team of Privacy Issues Experts for About.com and worked for a professional baseball team.
Danielle graduated from New York Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctor with a Certificate of Concentrated Study in Intellectual Property. At NYLS, she was also recipient of the Nuñez Merit Scholarship and a member of the Institute for Information Law and Policy. Prior to law school, Danielle earned a B.A. from Rutgers University in Political Science with a minor in Spanish.
Danielle is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association Intellectual Property and Internet Law Committees, as well as a volunteer for the New Jersey State Bar Foundation Speakers Bureau through which she visits middle school, high school, and college students to speak about her career path in law and her experience as an Intellectual Property attorney.
In her spare time, Danielle enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her Labrador Retrievers.
